Elijah was the best worst dog! He had extensive training and knew all of the rules. So much so that he would steal things off the counter and immediately put himself on his "place" and wait for me to take it back. He was goofy and sweet with a mischievous side a mile wide. I still hide my socks in memory of Elijah.
Hope was our tiniest kitty, but she had the biggest presence in the house. She was the first to greet you at the door and she never met a stranger. Her purr could be heard across the house and we miss her every day.
Abel was the sweetest old man brown dog. He always wanted to be 'mom adjacent' and gave great comfort to our many rescue beagles. He lived a beautiful long life and there will never be another like him.
Butters was a very strong willed dog that loved her bike rides and defended her pack from every perceivable threat: skunks, cars, ghosts... She was trouble, but so very loveable.
